Nothing Is Real These Days Poem by Hebert Logerie

Nothing Is Real These Days

Rating: 5.0

Nothing is real these days
Please, do no set the world ablaze
Fake news
Fake boos
Fake boobs
Fake rubes
Too many people are crazy
Trying to make us dizzy
Fake smiles
Fake dials
Fake miles
Fake trials
This world is in turmoil
However, we still need oil
Fake friends
Fake hands
Fake sands
Fake bands
We hurt each other for no reasons
Let's hope for better seasons
Fake rice
Fake mice
Fake lice
Fake spice
We lie to ourselves too much
No need to do more research
Fake leaders
Fake pastors
Fake writers
Fake readers
We need to be better than today
Laugh more and smile more every day
Fake dopes
Fake ropes
Fake soaps
Fake hopes
Please do not set the house ablaze
Everything is fake these days.

'Nothing is real these days' uncovers the face of the countless hypocrites roaming around. So much artificiality and hollowness. Thanks for sharing.

Hebert, some cool little rhymes here. The relation of house ablaze and everything is fake doesn't make much sense. Verse light needs to be technically clever. Check out my new website: jeffersoncarterverse.com Tell me what you think of it. Yrs, JC
