Nothing Remains Unchanged Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Nothing Remains Unchanged

How can we co-exist.
As inhabitants of a World,
Constantly changing.

How can we do this and permit,
Our differences to give respect.
With acceptance allowed and not neglect.

Is that possible to do now.
In a World,
That will not stop from changing.
Is it possible to do that now.
Accepting to know,
Nothing remains unchanged.
Nothing today done to do,
Will tomorrow have a need to repeat...
What was done yesterday the same way.

How can we co-exist.
As inhabitants of a World,
Constantly changing.

How can we do this.
And permit...
Our differences to give respect.
If today we are unable to accept,
Or prepared...
For the unknown
A future to us may bring.
Without giving time now to mend,
Our conflicts and pointless divisions to end!
