Nous descendons des escaliers fragiles


Nous descendons des escaliers fragiles
que des pas fermes essaient de consolider 


Il faut sortir de là sortir de la torpeur
respirer un air neuf et à nouveau vivre


Précipité du jour dans la déchirure des vents
l'outrage du temps est otage du monde


Le fleuve charrie aussi nos souvenirs
la mémoire vive a besoin des mots des silences


Sourd à la poésie on risque le mutisme
la voix se pose là où les oiseaux regagnent leurs nids


La rue promène son chagrin de célibataire
aime regarder les murs parler les livres


La rue court le long des quais sautille
de place en place le silence éclate entre les mots


La poésie est la pièce maîtresse de la littérature
son invisible armature signe l'inaliénable
