Whether intentional or unwitting
we walk a path without admitting
It is love we seek and the pleasure it entails...
ending loneliness before darkness prevails

We look for contentment and seek direction
as the morning sun confirms resurrection
Knowing minutes may abruptly cease to flow
nullifying the comfort of a radiant glow

A realization starts to slowly take hold
Now is not forever… the future is untold
Cherish the 'hellos' of those you treasure
Shared happiness is impossible to measure
