Nowhere Else I'D Rather Be Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

Nowhere Else I'D Rather Be

Rating: 5.0

The river sparkles in the sun
Whilst gently flowing by,
The fields of corn are turning gold
And swallows fill the sky,
And there are no clouds above us
And the day's so clear and blue,
There's nowhere else I'd rather be
Than being here with you.

The gentle breeze so cool it floats
With love upon the air,
It speaks to me so softly now
Such beauty everywhere,
And all my dreams were made of this
And now they have come true,
There's nowhere else I'd rather be
Than being here with you.

My heart does wake from slumber now
Sweet voices I do hear,
I know that I have everything
With all I love so dear,
To gaze upon this paradise
And see this wondrous view,
There's nowhere else I'd rather be
Than being here with you.
