Obligation Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Obligation

An obligation

We are helpless
In all the cases
The birth is not in our hands
But have illogical and cruel end

Help not poor
But ask neighbor
About his well being
And try to bring closeness

You add no hurdles
For people
Who wishes to live?
With little faith in god and survive!

We have carried nothing with us
Still we run with mad chase
Accumulate more than enough and needed
It remains here sometimes unclaimed

I was given an impression
That there has to be no confusion
The peace is an obligation
With solid reasons and quotations

Obligation
