Oceanic Love Poem by C. P. Sharma

Oceanic Love

Rating: 5.0

I am the infinite ocean of love
Rivulets merge into rivers
The rivers to me flow
meandering dance
in the sunshine
glow.

From
there I rise
as a cloud of love
to kiss the sky far above;
there I roam over vales and hills
and then my heart with pleasure fills
I downpour love with loud drum beats.

Beautiful picture to accompany a very pleasing poem. I like how the line lengths go from long to short and back to ling again. Very well done, and congrats on having it selected as poem of the day!

Oceanic love is a poem that expresses infinite love in a very sublime way. The love that merges with the rivers, dances in sunshine, kissing the sky, flying around hills and dales. A wonderful imagery! My heart with pleasure fills - echoes William Wordsworth's line in the Daffodils. Enjoyed the visual that the words portrayed in the poem.10+++
