Ode To Sallie, The Salamander
It used to be...
The biggest problem was
Who got to hold the salamander next
OR
Where was the salamander?
OR
Did the salamander get a worm?
Now life is much harder
and the problems seem impossible.
I wish I'd known
how good I had it
when Sallie was here.
