If you had asked me at the beginning
I would have said it was doomed from the start

Baby girl, I know it's best for you
But the pain you feel hurts my heart.

Life as you know it is not over.
It is simply a brand new beginning.

You took the plunge straight into love.
This time its an unhappy ending.

Two lives with one path gets well travelled.
Sometimes there is much wear and tear.

That is when threads that once bound you.
Unravel till there is only one left.

Sometimes the answer is easy.
You just go your seperate ways.

You get used to the new solidarity.
Youl find new things to fill up your days.

You will always have memories of a union.
One that was very unique.

Life doesn't come with a handbook.
So don't plan your date book in ink

Everything changes, the world is a mess.
You are certain to make a mistake.

It is how you handle them that makes you grow.
And it fixes the messes you'll make.

My little leo, my lioness.
Open your mouth up and roar.

It sounds silly but it makes you feel good.
You may catch yourself doing it more.

You are beautiful inside and out
My sunshine you make me smile

Laughter and joy are contagious.
So bask in them both for a while.

Never forget that we love you.
You know we will always care.

If you need you Mommy and Daddy.
Both of us will ALWAYS be there.
