When looking for the light
We find the sweetest escapes in the dark
And suddenly it’s clear;
To see the light we need the dark
The magic and comforting dark
That makes us forget why we got here in the first place
Because the light
Starts taking away the magic
Of a song, a word, a sentence or a touch. A kiss
He opens the bedroom door and outside it’s bright
Another door, Elevators and more light
Now everything feels wrong, uncomfortable
Regrets.
It’s two bodies it’s two souls
The one is gone, the magic
Is gone, of a dark bright song
How it feels in the dark, in the silence of the night
Where I found my home
On my way to the light where I thought it would be
Now I hate it and I can’t stand
How the light makes us full of regrets and
Empty of emotions now
I’d rather be the devils, the demons and the night
Than continue my walk and leave
This magic place, than a happy bright life
I’d rather have the silence, loneliness, the sadness
That the dark keeps deep within
I’d rather have the sadness, settle down here
And try to keep it alive
In the brightest days, too I’ll take the magic of your touch
And live it in the light
Alone and dark like
I’m used to at night
I can't help but recall to mind other verse..: ~*~ ''Look at the Darkness, giving birth to the Sun.'' Kahlil Gibran, “Peace” (in 'Tears and Laughter') ~*~ WELCOME at P.H., Jox, and keep on writing! ciao

I would like to translate this poem
Perspective. Light would be meaningless without dark as happy makes no sense without sad.
