Of Supermen and Superwomen we hear of and read
People who are driven by the desire to succeed
People with huge egos that the praises of others inflate
So full of themselves yet them we celebrate
Due to their desire for success some of them end up in jail
And sad to say for every successful one many must fail
The need to better one's self seems a natural thing
Of the praises of losers you won't hear many sing
Most people at what they do want to be best
They do not wish for to be found wanting when put to the test
So many lacking in spirituality or so it does seem
Their greatest concern is their own self esteem
Their three favourite subjects are me, myself and I
And that's how they will be 'til the day that they die.
