i wish i could stand as tall
as a tree with a poetic vision
diverse and expansive as its
twigs, branches and leaves
that like muses never hold
themselves back to clap and
cheer when the air sends its
greetings of another halcyon day
where birds like God's blessings
fuel up the artist's imagination
and passion with their unrestrained
songs to inspire their eloquent verses
so that they make their way to us
like a flock of paradise birds
with bright red plummage to
charge up the evening sky
