Offer Prayer Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I offer prayers and enjoy
That provides me eternal joy
I suffer from no bias
I bow down and make same pleas

I have military background
So we had many religious sites to be found
Christians were there and Muslims too
Hindus worshiped side by side too

Different voices were heard in morning
Morning chant used to fill heart with words
“God is supreme and only one” it reminded
Who are we to divide it for everyone?

Lord Jesus gave me unique example
”Bleed for people if they are found in trouble”
Love and hate should not be the principle
We all are here for united struggle

Muslims offer prayers 5 times a day
Unique style of its own way
Which religion provides and inspires with such occasion?
Let there be no doubt or confusion!

I have tried to learn tolerance
With aim to keep cool with patience
If ever you keep silence and keep temper cool?
You shall remain victorious and successful
