Oh Bananas Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Oh Bananas

Oh peel, oh you,
How dare you,
Make me slip and slide,
And scare my mind.

Oh banana peel,
You made the car slip and slide!
How could you,
You accident causer.

But now the banana peel spoke back to me.
But YOU are the one who devours the banana,
And throws me into the traffic,
And in front of a walker.
