Oh Mother Poem by Sheldon Carruthers

Oh Mother

I am a believer
a high achiever
no end to my talents
I cannot complain
however, I am paranoid, insane
The bane of my life
the thorn in my side
It pains me to say I am a bit wild
a child who never grew up
a peter pan
If I ran for precedent I would be the man
I would work miracles on a daily basis
even though when I was young I wore braces
a top notch performer
with links to the paranormal
I am like no other
because I have a wonderful mother
