Oh! Young Mary Poem by Ayandare Mayowa

Oh! Young Mary

Oh! Young Mary
Growth so rapid became scary
No makeover yet trendy
With a disposition so friendly

Oh! Young Mary
Went out with friends to merry
Told them she only takes something classy
So naive she ordered candy

Oh! Young Mary
Curiosity so lively
Stature deception, thought she was Guy-ready
At least so confirmed her friend Wendy

Oh! Young Mary
How much she loves Harry
Imagining him already as Daddy
If only he will tarry

Oh! Young Mary
If only you knew Guys can be crafty
They tell tales so fairy
Now you are scanty

Oh! Young Mary
There is no need for hurry
In due time you will marry
Not withstanding the Baby
