'Okay! Enough.' Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

The ignorance.
And stupidity.
Consciously committed.
With an enjoyed irresponsibility.

Now expected to get shown empathy.
With a displayed forgiveness,
To receive sincerely?
From whom.
Or who would it be,
To have repeated apologies...
Rotated and recycled periodically.
Heard one more time to again,
Believe.
That a forgiveness to give,
Will make disappear...
To be forgotten to forget,
All that has been done...
Left to ruin, destroy and rot.

'Okay! Enough! '

Can you say something less trite.
And more creative that motivates?
What has been done,
Left to have had enough of...
Has proven not enough,
To stop it from being exploited.
And marketed for profit.
