Old Glory
Old glory
Land of love and peace
Thousands of years as peaceful race
How many civilizations took birth and perished?
Yet the peak has to be reached
Holy and ancient
It is same at present
The air has taken heavy toll
We have responded to west's call
Divided and partitioned
It has maintained tradition
No first to use force
Until threatened by destructive source
Faced by hostile neighbors
India has lived with honor
We have accommodated all races
Who faced repression and migrated here with no threat to face
Yes, this is land of sacred love
Taj mahal *is symbolic gesture and has to be believed
It stands on bank of Yamuna with all memories
All tourists witness the white marble monument with old glory
The land is not only famous for music and songs
It has witnessed all wrongs
How many outsiders rules over Delhi?
The monuments speak its history
*Taj mahal.. Old monument built by Shah jahan.. The Mughal emperor
