Olympics, Not Limpicks! (A Poem For Children) Poem by Jojoba Mansell

Olympics, Not Limpicks! (A Poem For Children)

My brother calls 'em Limpicks,
he hasn't got a clue.
Sticks make his javelin,
his discuss is a shoe.

My brother sez them Limpicks,
is the best thing on the telly!
As he hurdles over our pet dog,
then vaults o'er a welly.

My brother loves Limpicks,
he really is a dolt.
Sprinting round the garden,
thinks he's Usain Bolt!

My brother loves Limpicks,
sez he'll be there in 2020.
Although he's rubbish at the mo,
sez there's training time a plenty.

This one's a Pick of the Day. Loved it. Thanks for sharing.
