On A Bad Trip, Perhaps? Poem by Sandra Feldman

On A Bad Trip, Perhaps?

Rating: 4.5

Mixed up creatures
On a Globe,
Round and Round
And Round
We go!
What will stop us?
No one knows
Wil it be stupidity
Or fear,
That will make us
Disappear,
Faster than we even
Thought
Or will it be
Our own pernicious
Stupidities
And irresponsible
Blows?

But,
If we're lucky
Will compassion,
Love and understanding
Suddenly, appear?
To save us from
Our moral blindness
In order to obtain
A much more blessed,
Sphere.

Another powerful and incisive poem. Sandra's sensitivity and keen observation on human behavior makes her pen strikes the very core of humanity's heart.

Great poem Sandra, but as we go through climate change and expanding populations, an over populated world with all its problems seems inevitable.
