On A Photo Of Noreen Tarrant Poem by Francis Duggan

On A Photo Of Noreen Tarrant

On the Millstreet Town web site at the Cullen weigh in
Connie Tarrant's wife Noreen second prize she did win
In her photo her smiling face i instantly did know
I was at her wedding to Connie two decades ago.

The years on her do not seem to have taken toll
Connie Tarrant's wife Noreen a beautiful soul
Her children they now must be close to their prime
And some eighty Seasons in two decades of time.

Since the day she was married two decades have gone
She was Noreen Corcoran before she married Con
She originally hailed from Boherbue about ten miles away
From the Townland of Liscreagh where she lives today.

It has been twenty years since her i last see
And just going by her photo she looks quite well to me
To see her on the Millstreet web site was a happy surprise
At the Cullen weigh in she won second prize.
