On Life's Little Pond Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

On life's little pond we all take
Our brief journey on stepping stones,
Each step are choices that we make
And mark the character each man owns.

The frivolous ones fail and stumble,
And sometimes fall into the water.
The ones with wisdom, they are able
To have a goal and they get there.

There's only one sure destination,
No turning back of time and no reverse.
Stepping stones set in fixed formation
To lead each man to his destined course.
