On Naija Mission Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I encountered a question from Naija girl
”what I am doing in Niaja ‘
taken a back for while but replied
'any thing wrong dear to be on Naijapal'

'What are you doing her, tell me”
”frankly speak, what is your true age'
I said does the age matter,
' I am on humble mission',
Fumingly, I suppose, she became my pal.


'How come on Naija being Non-Naija man'
question was parried by another young boy,
what have I to offer to Naija people?
Not satisfied with answer but requested to add as friend,
He wanted inclusion only because he had no pal,
'He wanted female to be his pal'

Naija is being made as work place,
mission to work for community cause,
to feel the pulse of people and culture,
being one of them and ideas nurture,
with mixed feelings I try to mature,

I want to be your pal,
wrote another pal from abroad,
'fantastic job' why not make me as pal,
such a feeling for stranger,
so much wonder and still no anger,

It seems black is your favourite colour
May be you love passion for black girl,
I was taken a back by direct question,
he had sister to be married yet,
worried at heart, he wanted an answer from me,

Add me as pal and my sister too,
I am only bread winner,
It concerns me more as hopes fade,
Still no hope when his may wed

Situation is same, only stage is different,
'What is Naija 'or for that matter,
What is India or world,
role remains same,

Will Naija be able do it? Million rupee question?
All females and not many males,
may be mother’s dominant role,
and changing map of Naija,
That is why I am on Naija
