On Serendipity Poem by Walterrean Salley

On Serendipity

Rating: 5.0

Two little hungry children
Have enough money
For only one pack of chips.
But the vending machine gives two.

One’s favorite flower
Blooms in their garden
At the time of their death.

Someone comes along
At the very moment
That a cripple needs help.

A couple “butts” heads on the corner.
Then falls in love.
And the rest is history.

Serendipity.
The right thing at the right time—
Happening when least expected.
