Once again...I apologise

I apologies
I am after all only human
I am not perfect
I can see and know of my sins
Far to many to count
Like the sand in the ocean

One again...I apologise
I am far more ashamed
Than the word itself
Like a proud hyprocrite
Who does not seem to care

Once again...I apologies
For what I do is not of christian action
I give into temptation
I am such a pretender
A disbeliver
Hiding through the bible
As if I've got nothing better to do

Little they know
The story behind
My history
What I went through
But once again, I apologise

Like an empty box
Filled with toxic air
Breathing like the living dead
Walking in the world
With: no direction
No dreams
No goals

As I look up
once again...I apologise

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
