Once Upon A Disaster (The Very First Poem I Wrote)

This was the very first poem I wrote, on a hot summer afternoon while watching a sad romantic soap opera, which I can not remember the name of. I was about 11 years old.

Once upon a disaster
There was a Prince
So tall and kind
But so unfortunate
He loved her much
She loved him much
But her death
Caused by Heart broke
Left blood on his hands
For she saw him
With his cousin
She thought wrong
She thought sad
She thought sick
For she thought his heart was not hers
She felt sad
She felt sick
Because once upon a disaster
The Prince fled with all his might
To lose his love’s relatives
He rode his horse
So fast
So hard
He rode right off a cliff
The wind in his hair
His grip on his horse
Despair in his heart Once upon a disaster
