One Beautiful Girl Poem by Sakshi Walia

One Beautiful Girl

I saw you sitting inane
And I knew you were perfect
From a distance I admired
And you seemed to be the most beautiful girl in the world.
Your presence was gracious
Your body significantly elegant
it was quite the truth in your eyes that spelled the beauty of your soul.
And now I ponder over and over
How could I be so stupid
To let everything go astray
I have you so near
And I let you slip away
I want to make all fine in time
And fix all that is wrong
Change all of my regrets
So we don't fight as long.
I must be acting dumb headed
Maybe with a big giant nose
I know i pissed you off
Certainly, couldn't this oppose.
But I'm going through a lot
That can't be told
I'm just needing to be pampered
Though I'm a bit too old.
Maybe bad at words but not at heart
Drifter they call me
When my world's plunging apart.
Please help me with it
Help me throughout all
'Cause i can't just figure out
The problem's big or small.
So now i request you to take me back
And catch me when I fall
'Cause I need you right now
A lot more than anything at all.
