Ending A Life Poem by Sakshi Walia

Ending A Life

Rating: 5.0

He swept it all behind the closed door,
until he just couldn't take it anymore.
it kept on building up inside,
every second a bit more he died.
like a wild beast, it was roaring and alive,
In an ocean of pain he was to dive.
talking to no one, all happy and smiles,
fixing all others problems for miles and miles.
but one day he had taken enough from everyone,
he thought, he couldn't go on further and he was done.
so he grabbed the bottle and swallowed them all,
each old memory he started to recall.
within minutes he was lifeless lying on the floor,
and in next few minutes he was no more.
while that was the end of one magnificent life,
he started something huge and something rife.
Everyone came together, a large group was seen,
to celebrate what he was and what he could have been.
