'One Day' Poem by Mikey Estrada

People come in many varietys and different ways
Isn’t that what makes a colorful and wonderful day
Some guys are straight some are gay
Stop the hate they got every right to live as they may
Some girls are popular some are not
Is there any reason for that verbal snott
Some people are black and some are white
Take a step back and stop the hatred fight
If we all learned to except everyone for who they are then we would enjoy life but the sad truth is well, we don’t live in that perfect world that we all envision
So we have to take it upon ourselves to help perfect this life by implementing everything we have experienced in order to make an impact on others.
One day this world will all speak one language
The language of acceptance and encouragement to be the people we wanted to be with out any critics.
