His Body is strong, yet his mind is so weak.

He has so many thoughts in his mind, but cant find the words to
speak.

So young, so inexperienced, so much to learn.

His thoughts are so reckless, he is just waiting his turn.

He takes his first step, he falls but gets stronger,

A few weeks later he not only stands but walks a bit longer.

Hurry Up Hurry Up, I cant wait to be older! !

Be strong like my Daddy and get carried on his shoulder.

On to skinned knees, ring pops and 2 wheelers,

Football, First car all washed up and polished with sealers.

First kiss was as dreamed and graduation was here,

Wow, childhood slowly started to disappear.

How much is my rent? Utilities? Bills? What about fun?

Worked 2 jobs through college, that boy was always on the run.

Made partner at the firm. Met his future wife,

Bought his Third son his first pocket Knife.

Slow Down Slow Down, wheres all the time going? ?

But, his values are strong and his marriage is glowing.

Grey Hair, worn skin, hands that show his grace,

SIT BACK! RELAX! "Look at your life", he thinks, while a smile takes over the mans face.

His body becomes weak, yet his mind is very strong.

Its time to go home, With his father he does belong.

So old, So Experienced yet still so much to learn,

His thoughts are so reckless, he is just waiting his turn.
