One Man Poem by Sara Case

One Man

Life can go on and on.
It takes a real man to stop it.
It takes a real man to put down his foot
And tell the world his message.
His message that the world is going to end.
Today or tomorrow,
We will never know.
He would tell people to act like today is your last.
Nobody knows why,
But for some reason he died.
His last breath was being taking
Preaching to the people of Mount Higgins.
Not a real place, I know.
But since he was raised reading 'The Glory Field'
He knew very much.
He said that if he ever died,
It would have been a gift.
A gift telling the world of how to live.

These were his last few words.
