Justin Case Poem by Sara Case

Justin Case

I once knew a beautiful guy named Justin.
Last name Case.
He would always give me an extra glue stick in grade school.
'Just in Case' said he.
In middle school he would give me an extra pencil.
'Just in Case' said he.
In high school he would give me an extra pack of paper.
'Just in Case' said he.
One day I asked him why he always gave me things.
Why he would share oh so much.
Why he couldn't be like other boys who picked on me.
The next set of words that came out of his mouth
Were the most wonderful things he ever said to me!
'That's what I do for people.
My name is Justin Case.'
What a wonderful friend he was!
The first person who would really help the world.
The first person that wasn't afraid.
Wasn't afraid of getting hurt.
Wasn't afraid of losing
Or dying.
To bad he wasn't real!
Just a figment of my imagination.
Oh well!
That's what you get when your imagination runs wild!
