What do you think this poem is about?

One More Lie, Before I Sleep

Just tell me one more lie
Just one more to help me sleep tonight
One more lie
To make myself believe, everything will be alright
I can't handle the truth, better off give me a lie
I refuse to cry
The tears won't stop, no matter how hard I try
One more lie, just to comfort me this night
I'm getting nerves, knotting my hair thin
Tell me this will never happen again
I won't shed a tear, these eyes will stay dry
You know I won't be right, without that small lie
Now, before you kiss me goodnight
Let me hear that lie
Everything will be alright

Ironically asking for the truth. Lol! Well it's a nice one but I want you to go more deeper in your grammatical application. Keep it up pretty

this is nicely written and tells a truth in a way, although we all want others to be truthful at times we prefer to be comforted by a lie rather then listen to a harsh truth

Lies cannot stand forever but can just stand for few seconds.

What lie is that, that you want to hear! Everything will be all right. we always hear this lie everywhere, not only today to make you sleep.. a truth well told!
