One Single Butterfly Poem by Juan Olivarez

One Single Butterfly

One single butterfly,
Flapping it's wings,
In my backyard.

Created a disturbance,
All of a sudden,
In the atmosphere.

The disturbance grew,
And traveled,
Around the world.

Eventually the disturbance,
Reached the humid, and unstable,
South China Sea.

There it became,
A category five,
Monster hurricane.

The Chinese government,
Immediately labeled it,
The glorious people's typhoon # 1.
