Hold in the screams
The wailing
The shouts

Drone out all voices
As white noise surrounds

Find a sharp edge
And the cutting begins
The blood oozes out, but the noise's muffled in

Hand over mouth
Hand over ear
Hand in hand we've all been there

Eyes turned up
Palms faced in
We can't accept the reality we're in

Rambling on
And on
And on
Can't seem to organize and clarify our thoughts

Crying and writhing all through the great pain
Thinking it may be over
Only for it to start again

Rocking and cradling
yourself to sleep
Convinced that you're safe
That's when nightmares kick in

Flailing awake with
that feeling you can't shake

And there you are
In your grave
