I listen to the talkers
They all talk like they know it all
But yet, I don't hear
How to stop this economic fall

Gas prices just keep rising
Food prices do the same
But from where I'm standing
They say, no one is to blame

People losing jobs
At a record pace
The whole world is becoming
A very confused place

No one seems to know
Exactly what to do
Things are getting worse
For everyone including you
