Only the earth is made for us
And for how long?
Out there in the far away
So much is dark and indifferent
Danger radiates and blackness abides
We are so small in it all
Thinking reeds
Speaking only to ourselves -
We ask
Why did God do this to us?
Why is there so much loss and waste and extinction?
Only for now do we know we are here
And Time like a threat
Holds us captive in fear
Before the inevitable night we will never see.
And Time like a threat Holds us captive in fear Before the inevitable night we will never see. I have seen many personifications of Time but this is one the best that I have seen.
yeah the earth is made for us only for us " inevitable night" o after this earthly life maybe we'll never see............///

A poem that is both insightful and immense. Meshing with your faith. Who told us a God did this for us. Answer those who wrote that it was so and believed by those who have faith. If we question those thoughts of others what are we called? Why? Should we be automatons believing anything? Keep exploring the answers in your poetry.
