Only Wild Vultures Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Only Wild Vultures

The world can be wiped out number of times
The atomic weapons can do it any time
Let weapons fall in the hands of terrorists
Here lies real and crucial test

For arguments sake, we can avoid confrontation
Build nice and durable relation
What shall still ail humanity?
It shall always be the color, race and inferiority

Sometimes, we can put aside religion
As it is already different in many regions
No one can be brought to agreed level
Let us not fight over it and feel unwell

After all, we are trying to prove supremacy
Unknown master, creator and almighty
He himself failed to prove His presence
Now it is given to human beings to prove his existence

So love shall not allow them to come near
The hatred shall always keep them under check and fear
Each one will cut the neck of others
Such shall be mutual and acceptable offer

Let lovely earth then shed tears
Sans existence of mankind here
Who then shall pray the name of creator?
He may find only wild vultures
