Open frankness

Good people always suffer
when they offer
sympathy and attachment
with honest sentiments

they care for and think of
never dislike ugliness or laugh at
but go a step ahead
and read the lovely face

they admit the feelings
and go with the willingness
and tell the fact on the face
and make the link with love's trace

open frankness
do invite bad phase
it is taken as weakness
and one is made to suffer on the face

yet, their stance remains the same
and forbid them to claim
the love they dreamed
but stood condemned
