Orpheus and Eurydice
Were two lovers in ancient Greece,
And vowed forever he and she
Share a love that would never cease.
So when Eurydice did die
Orpheus, still living, went to
Hades in an attempt to try
His Eurydice to rescue,
But his attempt to rescue failed,
And he returned to life alone.
But the murder of him availed
Reunion, life and death postpone.

In death the two did reunite,
The wrong of love apart made right.
