Our Alchemy Of Love Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

We have loved,
with an uncorrupted certainty
of a raw heart.
We have dreamt,
with a childish imagination
realms of possibilities
of expansion,
and creation:
propelling from a mystic potentiality
as a latent volcano
ready for eruption
at the friction of the tectonic plates—
A magnificent firework
of frissons of love,
in myriads of colours
with brilliant shades,
moulding our malleable selves
into new forms,
made of incandescent lava,
elevating our spirits
to their celestial heights!

We have seen
the substance of our beings
radiating in our eyes;
and our souls
reached to each other
to intermingle,
and create
the amalgam of us two.
We were immersed
in the creation of the alchemy
of our love,
metamorphosing ourselves
into a new spiritual-being:
made from our composition—
An entity of astral light,
formed from the matter of Love,
liberating the supernatural in us,
that it frightened us both
with its synchronicity,
and telepathy,
and time-space irrelevance;
We were magnetised spirits,
energised
by our ethereal Love: —
the one
that shakes your roots,
and gives you wings!
