Our Connection Poem by Brandon Mackey

Our Connection

Gracefully she enters my soul
I've been here standing in the sun re-charging
She whispers and I can feel her voice
through the waves I hear her
Who is she?
I love her appearances so smooth
Shall we mold together as one
mother cries out loud
Shall we hold this feeling of desire?
I smiles and cleared her tears
Mother you choose to use the word again
this can not be used for us.
She is what allows my movement and I love her
I am what allows her to burden myself and she loves me
Together mother, we are perfect and pure.
If I spoke to a child I would speak of you.
Please hear me now Our love our lives
Our son and this place
We all are holy now, no falling from grace
