Our Friendship Poem by Cabaline xxx

Our Friendship

It was such a sunny, pleasant day,
our group of friends were gathered.
We chatted and laughed,
until I happened to glance at you.
The smile froze on my face, when I saw,
that one perfect tear fall from your face,
and hit the ground like a torpedo,
opening the flood gates.
It was me you turned to eyes swimming.
I took your arm and marched you indoors.
We sat in near silence, but for the sound,
of your gentle weeping. Then you spoke,
your heart bleeding as you sobbed out,
your troubles and your trials.
Your voice became slightly muffled, when,
seeking refuge you buried your burdened head,
in my shoulder. During your silences,
I whispered in your ear, did my best to comfort you.
Eventually your tears stopped. But I know,
you're still sad, upset again now.
However, this time I'm not there.
Please, my dear, stop crying
