Our Human Race Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Our human race
Saturday,10th November 2018

let the curse befall
on those devils
who are out to kill?
human beings at will

are we so powerless?
or unable to face
such an enemy of peace
who doesn't want people to be at an ease?

what is their hunger?
is it land, other nations or power?
do they aim for an energy source?
but this much bloodshed with force!

how can civilized world allow?
and other nations blindly follow
support them to grow with mad chase
and annihilate the human race

let us unite together
and offer silent resistance
with our democratic rights
and burn, in protest, the candlelight

if everybody becomes right conscious
the days are not far off to end their vicious
campaign and bring the halt to killings
of an innocent people and threaten their being

let us take fresh air with freedom
let some counsel prevail with wisdom
never in past, we have witnessed such holocaust
let our human race not disintegrate fast
