Our Icy Yukon Poem by Marilyn Lott

Our Icy Yukon

Another chill upon us
Ice laced on everything
Makes you kind of wish for
A little touch of spring

No matter where you go
There’s a crunchy crispy sound
Ice is everywhere you look
The lakes, buildings and ground

But you know, it looks kinda pretty
The way it covers everything
But still I’m looking forward to
A little touch of spring.

However, in the meantime
Until the ice is gone
I’ll enjoy our frosty world
In the glaze of our Icy Yukon!
