Our Little Game Poem by Anonymus Girl

Our Little Game

Why do you think,
I wont live without you here
Because I am independent
And I don’t really care

If you didn’t kiss me
Or tell me about your day
If you left me alone
Because I have nothing to say

If you told me secrets
And I didn’t reply
It’s because I don’t want to know
And don’t ask me why.

If you left tomorrow
And never came back
Do you think that I would cry?
Or even have a heart attack?

I bet you’d like that, wouldn’t you?
To know that you were right
For me to break down in tears
And ask for you to stay the night

That I cant live without you
Because my life wouldn’t be the same
But then of course you would have won
Our little, pointless game.
