Our Love Poem by Mike Nifton

Our Love

Rating: 5.0

Here is my love for all to see
Here is my heart it is yours
Here sits my soul bared for you
You have opened my many doors.

Because I love you I give you my all
My wont is to have you as mine
I see in your eyes your love for me
There is a twinkle the stars can't outshine.

I have loved you for centuries it is this way
I loved you then as I love you today
Whatever was written has become true
For you love me as I love you.

When in the past it may have seem dim
I have never lost this love within
I sometimes don't show you how dear you are
Darling you are my breath, my shining star.

I have looked upon you whilst you slept
I have shivered for the beauty you have
I have seen the happiness on your lips
I have lain betwixt your breast.

I love to hold you in the still of the night
I listen to your breathing so soft
I have felt the silkyness of your skin
Your sweet kisses carry me aloft

There are many years ahead of us
They seem so distant and long
For all those years I will love you
I shall always sing your song.

Be with me when a hand you hold
Be with me when you cry
Be my lover for ever more
It is true love and shall never die.
