Our Pain-Overwhelmed

It's a long day, away from home.
I am lonely, but sadly, not alone.
I meet people, but I am not seen
listening to Simon and Garfunkel
making life feel like a dream
I can feel him deeply,
his soul and his sorrow
a smile and a cry,
a life passing by
but I know the pain
his heartbeat near
be still my love,
it’s only fear
