Wallow in self-hatred,
Lay in self-defeat,
Belittle yourself and break yourself,
The pattern of self-destruction,

However you may see it,
The negative thoughts,
And the attention seeking,
We all struggle the same,

We bleed,
We cry,
The same goes for all,
We all struggle the same,

We shine the brightest
When we smile,
We are happiest
When we laugh,
And we bring each other up
When we least expect it,

The pattern of self-destruction
Vanishes when we reach for our dreams,
And achieve them with Pride,
Viewed differently when we share each other's
Dream to succeed,
The negativity is what makes us stronger
More able to do better.
