Out Of Darkness Poem by dave lessard

Out Of Darkness

Rating: 5.0

Out of darkness,
I searched for light,
out of a tangled web
of wrong and right;
fought out of shadows,
to be free,
that yesterday,
prevailed against me.
Out of a pit,
that kept me down,
lost in the crowd,
now I'm found;
now I've peace,
I don't understand,
but it's the love
of God's great plan.
Truth that leads
to joy and life,
to our salvation,
past troubled strife.
Out of darkness,
called to power,
to the shelter
of His high tower;
Out of darkness,
escaped from sin,
my heart and soul,
now given to Him.
